A little bit about me...
I'm a photographer based in eastern Pennsylvania. I capture a variety of images--wildlife, horses, people, and sports.
From grass-roots
beginnings.
My father was an avid photographer, and according to him, the inventor of the Dad Joke. When I was just a kid, he built a darkroom in our house and --ahem-developed in me a love for the art of photography. (It also got me over my fear of the dark.)
Later in life, Dad transitioned to digital photography, in a flash, and was even taking pictures up until he began to lose his sight in 2019. (Dad would have joked here, "Who could have seen that coming?") Dad passed in 2021. But he continues to inspire me to look for the unique in the everyday.
After retiring from a career in higher education, I decided to focus on becoming a professional photographer. While I have a range of subjects that interest me, I find the greatest joy in capturing images of wildlife, horses, people, and sports. (I have broad interests across the photographic landscape, what can I say?).
In addition to these main subjects, I am available for personal and animal portraits and marketing and branding exposure for nonprofits and businesses. (Special rates available for nonprofit organizations that support horse welfare or wildlife.)

My dad, Ben Cook, was a life-long photographer. He is pictured above with one of his first cameras in 1951 in Bogota, New Jersey.
